Meet the Macropod Team

Our Diverse Portfolio
Macropod brings together a multidisciplinary team with experience across banking, financial markets, computer science, government, international relations, neuroscience, and blockchain technology. Our diverse backgrounds reflect the complexity of building trusted financial infrastructure for a digital world.
By combining institutional expertise with technical innovation, the team is working together to develop compliant, resilient systems that enable regulated stablecoins and real-world on-chain settlement.
We’ve done the hard yards.
Backed by real innovation and experience, Macropod is built for confidence by people who know the terrain.

From boardrooms to blockchains, I’ve spent 35 years steering teams, markets, and strategy across global finance. After leading trading and derivatives at NAB and Deutsche Bank, I now focus on shaping the future of money as CEO of Macropod.
I bring deep regulatory experience, a global lens, and a clear eye for what’s next: building teams, navigating change, and helping the digital economy grow.

I specialise in making complexity manageable - aligning legal, risk, and operations so teams can move fast without breaking things.
With two decades in top-tier firms, banks, and hedge funds across Asia-Pacific, I’ve led product launches, built risk and compliance infrastructure, wrangled M&A deals and nurtured start-ups. I bring a steady hand, a global view, and a firm belief: the future of money is digital.

I started out studying the birth of the universe: now I help shape the future of money. From physics to finance, I’ve gone from decoding particles to redesigning products, markets, and money itself.
My career has spanned global banking roles at ABN AMRO and NAB, where I led the launch of Australia’s first bank-issued stablecoin. Today, as CTO of Catena Digital, I help institutions bridge the gap between legacy systems and blockchain infrastructure, making sure the future doesn’t just arrive, but lands smoothly.
We Keep It Moving.

I’ve spent my career building and running the infrastructure that keeps financial markets moving. From collateral management and product leadership roles at J.P. Morgan to running settlement infrastructure at ASX, I’ve worked deep in the plumbing of capital markets, helping institutions move money and securities at scale.
At ASX, I led Austraclear, Australia’s Central Securities Depository for debt securities, supporting more than $3 trillion in securities and settling around $80 billion in daily cash settlement flows.
Today I focus on digital asset innovation, helping bridge traditional financial market infrastructure with tokenised and next-generation financial systems.

I am a Financial Services operations specialist, with a decade's experience in global Banking and markets operations.
I am bringing my skills in strategic planning, communication and business management from Trad-Fi to help shape the future of finance in Australia.

With over 25 years in financial services, I’ve had the privilege of working at the intersection of traditional banking and emerging blockchain technology. I’m passionate about reimagining how markets operate—making finance more secure, efficient, and accessible for all.
My background spans digital asset custody, platform design, and tokenisation, underpinned by a deep understanding of regulation and market infrastructure.
Before my current role, I held senior positions at NAB, JPMorgan, and KPMG, helping institutions embrace innovation while maintaining the trust and rigour that define global finance.

I work at the intersection of financial systems and emerging technology, untangling complexity and turning strategy into execution.
My experience spans ANZ and NAB across markets, payments, core banking, and major transformation programs. I contributed to NAB’s institutional stablecoin capability and later led crypto trading and custody platforms.
I believe blockchain will power the next wave of financial innovation.

I started my career in financial services and compliance, working across regulatory risk, financial crime prevention, and governance roles that took me through both institutional environments and fast‑moving teams. Those early experiences gave me a deep appreciation for how strong compliance frameworks and practical risk management can actually enable innovation and growth.
Today, I focus on compliance and financial crime risk in the digital asset space, helping build and scale regulatory‑aligned systems that support secure on‑chain settlement and payments.
At Macropod, I work on developing AML/CTF controls, compliance frameworks, and governance infrastructure that support the responsible adoption of digital assets in the Australian financial ecosystem.

I joined Macropod early in its journey and have had the opportunity to grow alongside the company. Being part of this evolution has given me exposure to many sides of the business and a strong understanding of how technology, operations, and strategy come together to shape Macropod as it is today.
As a Business Analyst, I focus on solving operational challenges, improving systems, and analysing data to identify opportunities that help grow and evolve the business. I work closely with teams across the company to support macropods strategic vision and translate ideas into practical solutions that enable the platform to scale.

I am from ireland and have moved here for s year i contributrd to the operations and governance of the team

After graduating from UNSW with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, I jumped at the opportunity to join Macropod and put my passion for technology into practice.
Over the past year I’ve combined a keen eye for detail with an eagerness to learn — supporting the systems that keep Macropod running while contributing to new solutions. To me there’s nothing more satisfying than untangling a complex challenge and finding the right fix.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading and playing the piano, both of which help me unwind and spark my creativity.

I came to digital finance from the world of pure mathematics. My Master’s research focused on abstract problems in algebraic number theory and prime decomposition: the mathematics behind the fastest known methods for breaking RSA encryption.
Today I apply the same analytical mindset to digital asset markets and financial infrastructure. At Macropod I work on quantitative analysis and research around liquidity, pricing, and the behaviour of emerging financial networks, tackling a range of analytical challenges as the company continues to grow.
Outside of work I enjoy boxing, surfing, and keeping up with global markets and broader economic trends.

I have recently completed an honours year in Government and International relations - focusing on institutional organisation. My research reflects a keen interest in understanding real-world coordination problems, particularly investigating relationship between public and private actors, on both a domestic and global scale.
Outside of my academic life, I enjoy keeping up with arts and digital cultures.
As part of Macropod’s Operations and Compliance team, I support the day-to-day operations of the Macropod business, and assist our customers to hop on-chain.

I've spent a decade turning ideas into shipped products — designing, building, and scaling systems end to end. From cloud infrastructure to product architecture, I deliver complete platforms. My career spans software engineering, blockchain infrastructure, node operations, and recently AI-powered product development.
I bring a hands-on, full-stack intensity, a sharp eye for emerging technology, and a passion for building systems that power what comes next.
In my free time, I like to hike, do calisthenics, play a bit of tennis, rock climb, and occasional arm wrestling.
